Madison's last soccer game of 2009 -

My Niece Madison who will be 5 years old this fall started soccer this spring. She absolutely loves it and can't wait for saturday mornings. It was great to see her put all that she had into the game..... she never lost track of the ball. She kept running across the field. Here are a few of my favorite pictures. A few are of her little sister Ava...... she enjoyed a treat I brought...... what can I say, I love my girls.

Fall 2008

Isn't He adorable? My nephew Logan (2 years old), he has a facination with Grampy's tractors. I was there to capture this moment as he was staring off into the distance daydreaming about the tractor.

Ava Grace (2 1/2 yrs old), I just love saying her name it is so beautiful. I love this shot because I feel like it has captured her mischievous side.

Madison (4 years old) my model, I love her eyes. She is the first born of the grandchildren and definitely the little mother of the group. She has the sweetest heart.

I love the orange color of pumpkins!! Aren't they beautiful? and the way the stems twist and turn..... they are all so unique.... not one is the same.

Many people believe that the color of an apple can be correlated to its ripness. Well folks, the truth of the matter is it is all up to genetics the the sun. To prove my case we have the picture below. This apple (from my family's orchard) was picked with a leaf stuck to its skin. Color on an apple is a combination of genetics and sunburn...... thankfully apples don't have to worry about cancer.... they don't live long enough (bad joke I know, but I couldn't resist). As you can see as the leaf dried to the apple the sun soaked thru leaving the definition of the veins and tracing the leaf. This apple was too beautiful to eat.

Elizabeth's Senior Banquet

Elizabeth's Senior photo shoot

My cousin Elizabeth is graduating High school this month. It is amazing how time goes by so quickly. I was excited when I was asked to take some pictures for a less formal senior portrait. We had lots of fun, and will be able to laugh for years to come. As you can see she is a beautiful young woman.

My First Blog Entry

Hello out there in blog world. I am so excited to be sharing my photography here. There is this unexplainable joy that I have whenever I am taking pictures. Over the past few years I have been exploring my love for photography, I upgraded my equipment. I now own a nikon digital slr camera and have enjoyed capturing special moments whenever possible. I have a lot of catching up to do. I have some favorites of the past year or so that I want to put on this blog. I am also very blessed to be working with a photographer shooting weddings this summer. Infact, my first is in 12 hours!! I am so psyched! It is going to be awesome! Anyway, enough for now. I hope you enjoy these as much as I do.
